She led the way to the hall, moving in her small confined steps which forced her body into a slow graceful glide. I had to be careful not to step on her train, and kept wondering when it was going to catch on something and send her sprawling. She opened the door to the front wardrobe closet, struggled to reach the light switch, and led inside.
